Nick founded Anglo Orient in 2022, bringing nearly two decades of shipbroking experience, across sale and purchase, newbuildings and financing.
He was previously a Sale, Purchase and Newbuilding Director at Galbraiths in London and at Howe Robinson Partners in Singapore, and before that spent more than nine years with Fearnleys Asia, latterly as Head of its Sale and Purchase and Newbuilding Department.
A career spanning Europe, Asia and several complete markets cycles has given him a practical understanding of maritime assets, pricing, counterparties and complex
negotiations. At Anglo Orient, he originates, structures and executes every mandate personally.

Alistair is a dry-bulk specialist with more than fourteen years in the Pacific market. Born and raised in Singapore, he has first-hand knowledge of the region's trade flows, market dynamics and commercial relationships.
His career spans both the ownership and chartering sides of the industry, with particular depth in the handysize sector, and has taken him from Singapore and Hong Kong to Auckland and Vancouver — the Pacific's principal markets and trading routes.
At Anglo Orient, he advises on the commercial merits of each transaction the firm considers, drawing on long-standing relationships with cargo interests, shipowners and brokers across the region, and an owner's and charterer's perspective on how a deal will actually perform.
